1. About Plotline
Plotline (the "Service") is a web-based tool that helps UK garden designers and landscapers turn a short project brief into marketing content using artificial intelligence. The Service is provided by Oscar Sayers, 65 Kinross Road, Leamington Spa, CV32 7EN, trading as Plotline (the "Provider", "we", "us"), operating app.getplotline.co.uk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the Provider. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping access to your inbox secure. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for your own business.
3. Free and paid plans
You can generate one free "garden" (one full content pack) after signing in. Beyond that, an active paid subscription is required to generate further content and to use regeneration and tone-tweak features. Subscription pricing, billing frequency and any applicable VAT are shown at checkout.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Unless required by UK consumer law, subscription payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, by starting to use the digital Service during the 14-day cancellation period you agree that the right to cancel is lost once the Service has been supplied.
5. AI-generated content
Plotline uses AI language models to generate suggested marketing copy based on the brief you provide. You are responsible for reviewing the content before publishing it. Do not publish claims, accreditations, guarantees, prices, testimonials or factual statements that are not accurate for your business. We do not guarantee that generated content is unique, accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
Subject to the Terms and any third-party rights, you own the content you generate for your business and may use it commercially. You grant us a limited licence to process the brief and generated content solely to operate and improve the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing, sexually explicit, or that impersonates another business. You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse the Service, including by submitting excessive automated requests.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change or remove features and pricing at any time. Material changes affecting active subscribers will be notified by email.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or other users.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, business, goodwill or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may rely on mandatory local law protections.
